Roseto degli Abruzzi

Roseto degli Abruzzi, also known by the tourist nickname of "Lido delle Rose" is a city on the Adriatic coast, daughter of Montepagano, an ancient village that overlooks it from a gentle hill.

Main center of the Vomano river valley, facing the Gran Sasso d'Italia massif, before its current name until 1887 it was known as "Le Quote"; from that year until February 20, 1927, however, its name was changed to "Rosburgo".

The territory was already inhabited in Roman times, given that some places in its territory are mentioned in numerous documents from the Middle Ages.

Today Roseto degli Abruzzi is the first coastal town in the province of Teramo and one of the most popular seaside resorts on the Abruzzo coast. An open and supportive city, with a strong tourist vocation.

Located in the center of Italy, Roseto is in fact easily accessible thanks to good road and rail links and the proximity of the airports of Rome, Pescara and Ancona.

The sea of Roseto degli Abruzzi has been awarded the European Blue Flag since 1999 and has been known as a holiday resort for over a century. A vocation for tourism born from the hospitality of fishermen who at the beginning of the 20th century made their seaside homes available and grew thanks to the culture of hospitality of tour operators who for generations have continued to take care of tourists.
